To master professional negotiation, this seminar immerses participants in a number of practical situations. Thus, the approach is very concrete and the feedback is direct. In this way, verbal and nonverbal automatisms are established and the right reflexes are stimulated.

We all have to negotiate regularly, on a small or large scale. Mastering negotiation techniques is essential.

WHAT SKILLS CAN YOU DEVELOP WITH A NEGOTIATION SEMINAR?

This seminar will help you develop the following skills in your chosen language:

  • defining needs, wants, expectations and key criteria;
  • defining time constraints and the no-deal threshold;
  • understanding the other party’s goals, criteria and boundaries;
  • creating and maintaining the relationship;
  • adjusting your [counter]proposals to the other party’s criteria;
  • defining your own position and that of the other party;
  • dealing with objections, using them as levers
  • developing options and considering compromises;
  • closing the transaction dynamically with a link to the next phase;
  • in case of disagreement, build a new bridge to the future.

And depending on the experience and needs of the participants:

  • pushing your negotiation skills to the limit;
  • Practicing negotiation in critical situations;
  • dealing with behavior and reactions in situations of rejection;
  • dealing calmly with rejection, criticism and objections;
  • Managing important transactions with strength and a sense of success.

This 2nd part can be used as an extension of this seminar.

The 2-day seminar (14 hours, including 1 hour lunch per day) is organized on an in-company basis, customized for your staff, at our premises or at your location. Other time arrangements are possible.
